By accessing or using Knowlith, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Knowlith.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. The Service

Knowlith is a SaaS platform that may include:

  • roadmaps;

  • customer feedback systems;

  • embeddable support widgets;

  • and related customer communication tools.

Features may change over time without notice.

We may add, remove, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials;

  • all activity under your account;

  • ensuring your information remains accurate.

You must not:

  • impersonate another person or organisation;

  • use the Service unlawfully;

  • attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Plans and Billing

Knowlith may offer:

  • monthly subscriptions;

  • annual subscriptions;

  • lifetime plans.

Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You authorise us and our payment providers, including Stripe, to charge the applicable fees.

All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

We may change pricing at any time. Updated pricing will apply on the next billing cycle.

Lifetime plans apply only to the product scope and features available at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.

5. Customer Content

You retain ownership of all content uploaded, submitted, or created through Knowlith ("Customer Content").

By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit, display, and store Customer Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for:

  • the legality of Customer Content;

  • obtaining all necessary permissions and consents;

  • ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and regulations.

6. End User Data and GDPR Responsibilities

The Service may process personal data, including customer support conversations and end-user submissions.

If you use embedded widgets or collect personal data through Knowlith, you are responsible for:

  • complying with GDPR and other applicable privacy laws;

  • providing required notices and obtaining required consents;

  • maintaining a lawful basis for processing personal data.

We act as a service provider and processor only where applicable.

7. AI and Third-Party Services

Knowlith may integrate with third-party providers including:

  • OpenAI;

  • Anthropic;

  • Stripe;

  • and other external services.

Content submitted through the Service may be processed by third-party providers where required for functionality.

We are not responsible for:

  • third-party outages;

  • third-party processing practices;

  • or decisions made by third-party systems.

Your use of integrated services may also be subject to the third party's own terms and privacy policies.

8. Public Content

Some areas of the Service may be publicly accessible or indexed by search engines.

You are responsible for ensuring that no confidential or sensitive information is published publicly through your use of the Service.

9. Feedback

If you submit suggestions, ideas, feedback, or feature requests, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, modify, commercialise, and incorporate that feedback without compensation or attribution.

10. Data Usage

We may use anonymised and aggregated usage data for:

  • product improvement;

  • internal research;

  • operational monitoring;

  • and marketing insights.

This data will not intentionally identify individual users.

11. Account Deletion and Data Removal

You may delete your account at any time.

Upon account deletion:

  • your account will be terminated;

  • your data will be deleted;

  • access to the Service will immediately cease.

You are responsible for exporting any data before deleting your account.

We are not responsible for retaining deleted content.

12. Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted availability;

  • uptime;

  • error-free operation;

  • or that the Service will meet your requirements.

We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes at any time.

13. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in Knowlith, excluding Customer Content, remain the exclusive property of APPLAUD SO LTD.

You may not:

  • sublicense;

  • reverse engineer;

  • or exploit the Service except as expressly permitted by law.

14. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including:

  • merchantability;

  • fitness for a particular purpose;

  • non-infringement;

  • or reliability.

We do not guarantee that:

  • information provided through the Service is accurate;

  • the Service will be secure;

  • or data loss will never occur.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, APPLAUD SO LTD shall not be liable for:

  • indirect damages;

  • loss of profits;

  • loss of revenue;

  • loss of business;

  • data loss;

  • or consequential damages.

Our total liability arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless APPLAUD SO LTD from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • your Customer Content;

  • your breach of these Terms;

Updated Terms become effective when published on the website.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
